August and September were surprisingly productive for me and today I am very happy to introduce to you my newest crochet design – the Sienna Shawl.
I have decided to split the pattern into four parts released weekly (every Tuesday). You can join my Facebook Group or Ravelry Group to get necessary support, ask question about pattern or share your work in progress (WIP).
Get part 1 of the pattern and picture tutorial below or purchase up front the whole, ad-free, printable PDF crochet pattern with stitch charts HERE on ETSY or HERE on Ravelry.
Sienna Shawl is a lovely triangle shawl that begins from a bottom tip with increases placed along the edges. This crochet shawl continues my love of shawls with elegant crochet lace pattern. It’s a perfect crochet accessory for every woman. It can be the perfect treat to make for yourself or a great Christmas gift idea for a friend.
The flower lace pattern is geometric and quite easy to memorize and it will catch the eye when you wear it. While the stitches used in this pattern are simple, the project itself is not the quickest one. But, once you have the first few rows figured out, you’ll be off to the races.
If you are not afraid of new challenges, I think that you will be really happy with the end result. The pattern includes a step-by-step picture tutorial demonstrating how to start your shawl and how to work tricky stitches.

This shawl pattern would be awesome worked up in any color, but this Drops Fabel yarn is so beautiful! The fiber content of this yarn is 75% wool and 25% polyamide (for durability). The yarn never splits and has gorgeous stitch definition.
The color selection from this line is great! I worked with Mustard for my shawl but you can use any color you want. Even vertigated and gradient yarn would work great for this pattern.
I highly recommend using yarn that blocks and drapes really well. To be fully satisfied with the final result you have to block your shawl properly .
Because this yarn is so soft and the pattern works up so easily, I am really pleased with how this triangle crochet shawl came out. Find some free time and start working on this project!
I would like to send many thanks to my amazing and talented testers who helped me to bring this crochet design to life. Their meticulosity and all advices they gave me during the test helped me to improve this crochet pattern and make it perfect for you. You can check out my testersโ projects HERE and see how beautiful their shawls turned out.
If you want to share your wips and finished shawl on social media, please, use hashtag #mycrochetory or #siennashawl. I love to see your finished project!
